My new Miniature doll is a old gray witch sitting and waiting for Halloween 2011 . She is designed for a 1:12 scale dollhouse or roombox . . . if she was standing she would be only 4 3/4" tall, sitting  with her witch hat on she is only 5" tall. She is designed to sit and can be gently posed and wrists can be turned to hold  witchy items. Happy Holidays to all!Patty

Mandrake roots What a mess! Haunted Miniature on eBay By Pat Benedict

This poor witch’s broom has to re-pot her Mandrake roots . . . what a mess!

     I just love this fun Haunted miniature set, and the broom’s face cracks me up! I really enjoyed creating this fun set and had to give credit to my husband Gan for the GREAT idea! Thanks Gan!
The broom is a little more than 4 ½" and the three mandrake roots are 1"- 2" long.

My NEW witch on eBay tonight for a three day auction.  This has to be one of my  very unique pieces...I even hand flocked and feathered the flamingo!

Old Wizard with hisTortoise Familiar on eBay tonight

My new Miniature doll is Wizard Aldabra Long-beard and his Giant Tortoise Familiar "The Ancient One" . He is designed for a 1:12 scale dollhouse or roombox . . . he is only 5 1/4" tall with out his wizard hood and can be gently posed and wrists can be turned to hold other Wizard items ...the staff can be removed from his hand. The Giant Tortoise is only 3 1/4" long all hand sculpted by me. I really enjoyed sculpting old wizard Aldabra Long-beard and The Ancient One!

My First Santa Clause On eBay tonight THREE DAY AUCTION

My new Miniature doll is the only Santa I will make in 2010. Actual I think this is the first Miniature Santa I have ever created! Santa comes with his sack of toys ...I hand sculpted Santa Clause, ball, big baby doll (Jointed) , Robot, Jack-in-the- box, two small stocking full, all the other miniature toys I have collected over the years. He is designed for a 1:12 scale dollhouse or roombox . . . he is only 5 ½" tall and can be gently posed and wrists can be turned to hold other toys or items. He is dressed in a bright red soft flannel. He has a jolly old smile with a fun white beard (It took me a long time to create his beard) I have to start this auction out with a higher bid...it took me some time to create. Ho! Ho! Ho!  My new Miniature doll is a Wizard with his magical staff of faces. He is designed for a 1:12 scale dollhouse or roombox . . . he is only 5 ½" tall with out his wizard hat and can be gently posed and wrists can be turned to hold other Wizard items. He is dressed in pewter satin and purple satin. The  magical staff is  8" tall  with tiny hand sculpted faces ...the staff can be removed from his hand.

La Befana Miniature / Ornament of eBay tonight

La Befana

According to Italian legend, La Befana was a witch living at the time of the birth of Jesus. The three wise men were on their way to Bethlehem, when they invited La Befana to come along. She was busy with her housework and declined. Later, once she had finished her cleaning, she set off on her broomstick with toys for the Gesú Bambino (Baby Jesus). However, she could not find the Three Kings and soon lost her way. Italian children believe that La Befana is still looking for Baby Jesus, and on the eve of the Epiphany(January 6th), she flies down the chimney of each house, and leaves gifts in the children’s shoes or Stockings which are left by the fireplace.

I have always enjoyed creating "La Befana" during the holidays. She can be used as a ornament or Flying (hanging) above your Christmas dollhouse. Total length of broom is 7" and height is only 3" (Top of package in sack)

Our Halloween party "Monsters Wedding" Party 2010

I thought I would share some photos of our Halloween "Monster Wedding Party". I squeezed in to a vintage wedding dress and my monster's bride wig was a hoot! It kept moving on my head...felt like Marty Feldman on Young Frankenstein (Igor's hump kept changing sides!). My husband Gan is such a great guy he let me cover his face with green shiny eye makeup, but his bolts on his neck kept falling off!
All our friend's dressed up and we had a blast!

A special order 1:12 scale Miniature Vampire Nanny for a special Collector

Just had to share photos of my updated version  of my original 2004 Vampire Nanny (She has always been one of my favorite dolls!) . I have a very special collector who has asked me for many years to create another Vampire Nanny with the Vampire Baby in his buggy.  This year I said YES! and here she is ... and tomorrow she will be on her way to a special collectors home.

I had so much fun deigning and sculpting the Haunted Miniature piece! The little child dressed up as a Dragon is 4" tall and the Monster Halloween party foods heights range from 1/4"- 1 1/2". Getting Ready for My Halloween Party!!!

There are only eight weeks until my "Monsters Wedding Party" in Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Classic Movie "The Bride of Frankenstein" I have mailed out the "Save the Date" notes and I'm working on the Formal Invitation.


I'll be posting all the fun ways I'm going to decorate for the party!

The Colors I have chosen is Black, White & Monster Green! I have been collecting ceramic figures from garage sales (Will let you know what I have planned for them later)

I have purchased two Large Black Ravens from Michaels . . . on sale this week for 6.99 each, and they will go great with my dollar store black birds from last year.

My Favorite places to find GREAT Halloween goodies are, TJ Max, Tuesday Mornings, Cracker Barrel, Michaels and all the great little antique shops in Northwest Missouri!

OMG!!! LOVE the "Monster High" Dolls!!!!

"Freaky Just Got Fabulous" The NEW Mattel "Monster High" dolls are Sooo freaken Cool!!! I have Draculaua ( she is a Vegetarian)  and her Stuffed doll friend. I really Like Ghoulia a Zombie and her boy friend Slow-Mo (I hope they make a doll of her). They are only $16.96 at Walmart...I ordered  Frankie Stein on line.  Their website is really fun and so cute, you can send a scream!!!!
