Working on my new art studio

To start out the New Year we are redoing my art studio. My husband Gan is doing most of the work, I just help sand and paint. I'm posting photos as we go! I will not be creating until I have moved back into my NEW orange studio.
I'm SOOOOOO Excited!!!My head is full of new fun Halloween designs!!!!

A Alcoholic Christmas

YES! I'm a alcoholic and have been sober since 2002! The holidays can be very hard on Non-drinkers being around all the parties and lets face it DRUNKS! It's not easy seeing someone you love act like a jerk when they drink, but it's up to the person to know their drinking limit. When I was a drunk I would say and do things I really regret! But I have the most amazing children (Gan 26, Ken 23, and Annie 20) who forgave their mother for being the "Drunk Mom". So as a gift to your children during the holidays don't let YOUR drinking be the thing your children remember the MOST about the holidays.

Ice Storm hits my City, Saint Joseph , Missouri

We just received our Electricity back again for the third time but I think it's on for good today, Saint Joseph still has over thirty thousand homes without power! Thank goodness it's just me and husband Gan, two dogs, two Cats, two birds and a turtle named filbert! We stayed warm with a gas log insert and a lot of layered clothing! We used our mickey mouse phone in our landlines because all the cell phones were out.It's so nice to be warm again! I took some photos of the storm...BURRRRRRR!
