I'm still learning how to sculpt!

As some of my collectors know I’m a self taught artist and I started sculpting Haunted miniature dolls in 2003. Everything I have learned has been from trial and error ... mostly error.. This year I decided to try and perfect the 1:12 scale soooo I purchased this wonderful book “1/12 scale Character figures” By James Carrington and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I wrote James to thank him for writing such a wonderful informative book with a lot of fun artist humor! I’m really challenging myself to sculpt even smaller with even MORE details thanks to James book! You can visit James website for more information an photos of his wonderful dolls!

Thank you , Jamie!

Hi is great for a size guide. He doesn't show you how to sculpt details (Faces) But I think you need to learn your own style in sculpting faces. you should give it a try!

I have this book and had the pleasure of meeting Jamie last year hes a wonderful character. I would also suggest a book Creating Life Like Figures in Polymer Clay by Katherine Dewy. I use both books and they are my sculpting bibles.
